Here at Wolf & Moon we try to be as sustainable as possible when it comes to our business processes. We only use FSC certified wood and have recently introduced recycled acrylic into our jewellery range. We also recycle as much as possible with 0% of our waste going into landfill.

Smart searching.

Ecosia is a search engine that uses its profits to plant trees across the globe. By simply using the search engine in replace of Google, Bing or Yahoo, you can help decrease the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere with an average of 45 searches planting 1 tree which is easily done in 2-3 days! In addition to cleaning the atmosphere, Ecosia’s work supports local communities through the planting process! Win-win.

Sustainable snacks.

Food is one of the big ways that we can reduce our carbon footprint, and a great way to encourage eating habits that are better for the environment and for our health is through fruit and veg deliveries!

Companies such as Oddbox deliver seasonal produce to offices in order to save fruit and veg that would otherwise be discarded, and with over 30% of the world’s food being wasted each year, this is a great way to help reduce this percentage. By working with local farmers, using fully recyclable or degradable packaging and spending profits on supporting food poverty charities, Oddbox is a great way to get your 5-a-day and help reduce global food waste!

Cow-free coffee and tea.

By now, everyone knows that the meat and dairy industry is the most harmful to the planet, contributing more CO2 emissions than all the world's transport put together. By reducing your intake and lowering the demand, you can make a huge impact on decreasing greenhouse gases. A swap from cow to oat milk reduces carbon emissions by 73% and if you go through tea and coffee like we do in the W&M studio, this really is a no brainer.

Clever waste disposal.

Reducing your waste is the best option for the planet, but waste is hard to avoid. Recycling is of course the next step and is easy thanks to disposal companies like First Mile. They help businesses big and small to dispose of all types of waste - everything from food and glass to IT equipment - and use creative solutions to recycle it, with absolutely nothing ending up in landfill.

A great first step is clearly labelled and easy access waste bins. Ours are separated into Food, Mixed Recycling and General Waste which helps waste disposal teams with collection and organisation of rubbish.

Creating a positive impact on the atmosphere is a big task, but small steps make a big difference. At W&M, we’re obsessed with our plants and have a green friend on almost every surface of our office space. Plants increase oxygen, and therefore help with levels of concentration and focus, so you can basically guarantee an increase is productivity throughout the day.
