The other week I went to see Phyllida Barlow at the Royal Academy of Arts here in London. I really love her use of materials - concrete, wood, plaster and paint. The materials, and the scale of her work, made you feel like a tiny person in a giant art studio. The precariousness of the sculptures made the show even more interesting and enjoyable - as if they could collapse or fall apart at any second.
The show is on until 23rd of June, and I would recommend anyone in London to stop by and take a look at the show. Here's some of my favourite pieces from the show...
